How can I get the most out of PAICAR 02 polishing paste and when is it best to use it?
PAICAR 02 is somehow the queen of PaiCar polishing line. If only because, thanks to its flexibility and its particular profile, it can enter into different polishing processes, and it is useful on different situations, bringing solutions in different contexts.
PAICAR 02 is an extremely fast polishing compound that removes defects effectively, while ensuring a high gloss finish. It is not a rough paste and it is not a polish. It is halfway, we would say.

We could identify at least 4 processes in which you can take real advantage of PAICAR 02 key features:
- PAICAR 02 + DA-02 PAD WITH ROTORBITAL: this combination is among the most common. It is the typical “one step” and you take full advantage of the key strength of this compound, capable of “flat down” scratches and at the same time polishing to high gloss. The use of foam and rotorbital minimize the formation of holograms and allow a brilliant finish to be achieved.
- PAICAR 02 + LAMB WOOL PAD WITH ROTARY followed by PAICAR 02 + DA-02 PAD WITH ROTORBITAL: also in this process, the “one step ” key strength of PAICAR 02 is perfectly used. In this case, the variable is the tool, while the compound remains the same. The rotary machine and the wool allow you to remove deeper scratches; while the use of rotorbital and foam removes wool marks and cleans the surface to make it glossy.
- PAICAR 02 + DA-02 PAD WITH ROTOBITAL followed by PAICAR 03 + DA-03 PAD WITH ROTOBITAL: we can identified this as the “PaiCar rotorbital system”. In fact, it combines the two middle-compounds of the line: PAICAR 02 + PAICAR 03. This is the combination that the professional uses when he wants to obtain a superlative finish. The high-gloss finish of PAICAR 02 is enhanced by the anti-hologram polish PAICAR 03, which makes the depth of colour and the wet effect even more extreme.
- PAICAR 02 + DA-02 PAD WITH ROTARY followed by PAICAR 04 + DA-04 PAD WITH ROTOBITAL: PAICAR 02 and its DA-02 pad can also be used with rotary machine. This may happen out of necessity (you don’t have a rotorbital polisher) or because you are dealing with deeper defects and you want to increase the “cutting power”. The following finishing action with PAICAR 04 removes any small marks left by the rotary movement and gives a deep shine.
Well, these are the main processes in which PAICAR 02 can support the professional in restoring the old, as well as polishing the new paint.
